The Owners
Friends since 2013.
Trevor and Rob met when they bought a forty-year-old restaurant in Orange County together and rebuilt it. The Blackwater is the second act, in Virginia this time.
Trevor Kotchek
Trevor grew up in New York restaurants, working the family business, and has been in food his whole life. He cares about local sourcing, good ingredients, and menus that change with the season.
Rob Dodman
Real estate developer, restaurateur, entrepreneur, and a foodie with a passion for a good experience.
