About The Blackwater

The Blackwater is a steak, seafood and cocktail restaurant at 4730 Scruggs Road in Moneta, Virginia, in the Smith Mountain Lake area. A pub on one side, a dining room on the other.

Hours

• Tuesday through Friday, 4 to 9 PM. Dinner.
• Saturday, 11 AM to 9 PM. Lunch and dinner.
• Sunday, 11 AM to 7 PM. Lunch.
• Closed Monday.

Menus

Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday. A weekend lunch menu runs Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM.

Starters, salads, burgers and sandwiches, and entrées including a 14 oz. Certified Angus Beef New York strip, a 6 oz. Certified Angus Beef filet mignon, pan-seared salmon and pan-seared mahi mahi.

Wine by the glass, with a bottle list from your server. Bottled and draft beer, and a full bar. See the current menus.

The room

The pub is on the left: a full bar, local beer, five TVs and no dress code. The dining room is on the right: brass chandeliers, natural light, Western art on the walls and candlelight, for a date night or a celebration.
